Association for Academic Language and Learning (AALL)

Australian Members:

  1. Visit http://www.aall.org.au/aall-membership
  2. Identify your membership rate (Standard, Casual or Student).
  3. Select ‘Membership application’ and follow the prompts to continue the membership process and pay your membership fees.
  4. Your membership will be valid for one year. You will receive an automated membership renewal email towards the end of your membership period.

International Members:

You are entitled to a free affiliated AALL membership if you are a current financial member of ALDinHE, ATLAANZ, or LSAC. You will be entitled to all the AALL member benefits, except for access to AALL travel and research/resource development grants (unless you are in a joint application with an AALL member).

  1. Email the AALL Treasurer (joseph.yeo@uts.edu.au) with proof of your current membership of one of the above mentioned organisations (e.g. membership payment invoice).
  2. Upon verification of your membership, the AALL Treasurer will send you the link to register (or renew) your free affiliated membership with AALL.
  3. Your affiliated AALL membership will be valid for one year from 1 Jan to 31 Dec. You will receive a system-generated membership renewal email towards the end of your membership period. You will then be asked to go through the above 2-step process again.

Association for Learning Development in Higher Education (ALDINHE)

United Kingdom Members:

  1. Visit http://www.aldinhe.ac.uk/index.php?p=2

  2. Select your membership level (e.g. institutional, individual).

  3. Download the appropriate membership application form, complete and return.

  4. Institutional members will receive a renewal invoice in September each year.

International Members:

  1. Visit http://www.aldinhe.ac.uk/consortium.html for a summary of reciprocal benefits available to current bona-fide members of AALL, ATLAANZ, and LSAC.
  2. International colleagues who are not members of AALL, ATLAANZ, or LSAC are welcome to take out annual Individual Membership of ALDinHE on the same basis as colleagues from the UK (see above).

Association of Tertiary Learning Advisors of Aotearoa New Zealand (ATLAANZ)

New Zealand Members

  1. Visit http://atlaanz.org/.
  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click ‘Become a Member’.
  3. Download Membership Form and email to Fiona.breen@weltec.ac.nz.
  4. Make payment via internet banking or request an invoice via the Membership Form.
  5. Your membership will need to be renewed each year.

International members

    1. Visit http://atlaanz.org/.
    2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click ‘Become a Member’.
    3. Download Membership Form and email to Fiona.breen@weltec.ac.nz.
    4. Attach proof of your membership of your own organisation.
    5. Your membership will need to be renewed each year.

    Learning Specialists Association of Canada (LSAC)

    Canadian Members:

    1. Visit https://lsac.wildapricot.org/join-us

    2. Select your membership level (e.g. professional. associate, student, institutional).
    3. Follow the prompt to continue the membership process and pay your membership dues.
    4. Your membership will need to be renewed each year.

    International Members:

    1. Visit https://lsac.wildapricot.org/join-us
    2. Select your membership level based on your home association (e.g. AALL, ALDinHE, ATLAANZ).
    3. Follow the prompt to continue the membership process.
    4. Once your home association membership is verified your LSAC membership will be activated (approximately 5 days to complete).
    5. Your membership will need to be confirmed each year.
